Isn't my brother James cute? He was really enjoying that popsicle! We had some good times this summer at the pool and hanging at home. This summer I got to appreciate being home for a steady amount of time and taking a break from the normal routine of school. If I only knew how easy I used to have it being a kid!

School went well for the first week. Seemed very slow, but I am sure that will pick up as the assignments start flowing in. I really like all of my professors, they seem nice and are very creative. Economics is going to be interesting. Already my professor has stated that she thinks our economy would fare better if more people were homosexuals. Forget about good morals.

Grandma had surgery last Friday and it went well. The doctor was able to get all of the cancer. Praise God! She is recovering very well, just taking it a little easy. She is usually very active, but I am glad she is taking a break. Since Uncle Nathan was in this weekend all of us headed to the farm to celebrate Grandaddy's birthday. It was good to see Caleb and Andrea, and Daniel and Elizabeth. We grilled chicken and hung out in the hammock..fun times!

Can't say we really did anything spectacular for Labor Day. God has been hard at work in our family, I guess if you could label this weekend as anything it would be "hard." I love living at home with my family, but golly sometimes it is hard. God give me the grace to live in grace.

Better scoot. The fam is having pizza and a movie tonight. Don't want to miss out. Later!
