Relaxation After Examinations

I just returned from my last final, I am done with school for the summer! My week of finals went really well! It seems like the semester went with a blink of an eye. Thank you Lord!

All week long my little brothers and sisters have been asking me when I would be done with school so that I could play with them. When I walked through the door today three of them grabbed me--arms, legs, waist...and let out excited squeals. Rachel said, "Finally, I get my sister back!" Made my heart melt. I think that they think I am going to sit home all summer to take them to the park and the pool. I've got to get a job though, one that will pay enough dough to buy me a reliable car. God will provide ( this is me telling myself more than it is reporting to you).

With the new season of summer, there will be many changes around here. First I must lose about 8"............of hair that is. Second, my mom and I want to go through several books this summer, beginning with Caroline Mahaney's "Feminine Appeal." This is an excellent book on biblical femininity, and would encourage all girls and mothers to read. Third, I want to dance, hike, run, swim, and go tubing or anything else my brothers and I can dream up to do with the Rochat family!

VFC ended their weekly meetings for the summer. Hopefully everyone will be able to get together once a month for a worship time. Last week's party was a blast even though I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked. They had a concert that night...which, I've been to one of VFC's before, and they believe in cranking up the music full blast. Yow, not quite the way I like it, but just hangin' with everyone makes it worth it.

I told the kids I would take them on a walk this afternoon, so I better get to it. Hopefully this summer I will be able to blog faithfully. Until next time....
